Old Lit back from somewhere deep within my HDD
Here you go folks. All the old poems from DannyMechanist
I love you
Fragile bonds wrought in three words
promises said and unsaid
Can lead to life together or
could, in one moment, just be dead.

Adamant
If you think you have
but a chance at changing me
be my guest and try

I love you, too
Four little words said
that make one drift off into
memories of love

(untitled)
At times I wonder what it is
that makes you so dear to me
Perhaps it's love perhaps it's lust
I wonder what it could be

Perhaps it's just the way you smile
perhaps your skin, that does gleam so
perhaps your rosy lips, your smile
perhaps how your green eyes glow

Perhaps it is your silken hair
such satin soft, black locks
perhaps your arms, that lovely snare
within which comfort lives

perhaps your smile that warms my soul
perhaps your voice so lovely too
perhaps your scent that does allure
that makes me want to embrace you

Perhaps it is the words of

Chills
Darkness...
Creaking, rattling, scratching at the door
Shadows, shivers, crawling 'cross the floor
Something creeping closer...
Night...
Scuttling, hissing, and eerie distant glow
Moaning, groaning, coming from below
Unseen, watchful eyes...
Abyss...
Howling, yowling, someone you can't see
Skittering, shuffling, monsters roaming free
One, single scream...
Silence...

Women are Better for the Environment.
Women who like dressing in tiny shorts and tank-tops
Are not doing it to try and look sexy
They are actually trying not to waste resources by wearing less clothing.
Women who pee in the woods
Do not do it because can’t find a toilet
They are trying to be smart for not wasting toilet water.
Women who eat salad
Are not doing it because they are trying to be super thin
They are doing it because they know plant-foods require less  greenhouse gasses to produce.
Women who have sex with other women
Do not do it because they are lesbians, or that it’s cool.
They do it because they don’t want to over-populate the earth.
Women who put makeup on their faces
Are not doing it to look pretty.
They are doing it to increase facial albedo, so less heat is trapped on earth, and global warming is reduced
Women can’t drive
Not because they are bad drivers.
It is because they are highly aware of the toxins used to produce, use, and expose of vehicles, and c

Framework of Misery
A beating heart covered in
cuts and bruises.
Tears of silver and gold
rolling down her face.
Like tiny diamonds
burning in the dark.
Her throat is sore from crying.
Her eyes are in shades of red
and she's so tired,
but she can't sleep
because every time
she closes her eyes she sees
the heartbreaker in disguise.
A pale skin covered in dark ink.
A framework of misery.
A sorrow's masterpiece.
She lost her heart to him
when she heard his voice.
Little did she know that
he seduces like a siren
and leaves a shipwreck behind
when he's done.

Matter

It was a dark stormy night
when the lake stole the light
from the moon.
Bitch, the sun might say
jealous as she is
blushing the other way
The stars, oh the stars!
they do dance around the galaxy
constellation dance and become intertwined
And you,
you puff your menthol cigarette
while the stars
are born and die
in the end of your life,
you will not matter.
Will you turn back into stars
and matter?
Does it really matter,
Anyway?

Lost love
Once there was a boy, with brown hair and dark eyes
And he looked so honest, you`d believe anything, no matter how stupid his lies
But he was a good boy, was neither troubled nor bad
He chose to be kind and make people happy instead
His smile was as bright as a snow-white frozen lake
That lies so silent and calm in a frightening landscape
He was a very gentle boy and full of trust
There was no room in his heart for hate and disgust
In his life he had many girls that he loved, but one of them most
But her mind was so stiff, and her heart was closed
Once there was a girl, with a sick pale face
Her eyes were as empty as her longing gaze
For she couldn’t find anything in this world that she wanted to see
She screamed for help inside, but no one heard her plea
Her heart was as cold as a snow-white frozen lake
Much like the smiles, and nice words she used to fake
She was full of suspicion and dreadfully hard inside
She felt as if there was a rope around her heart, too ruggedly tied
She

Thunderbird
It was flying on that stormy day,
a bird without a single feather.
Flapping through the clouds of gray,
a beast that controlled the weather.
Its claws are like a giant hand,
large enough to carry a child.
It casts its shadow over the land,
yet has never been seen in the wild.
Some view it as a divine being,
some view it as a fairy tale.
Its presence is a spectacle worth seeing,
a figure for the Northwest to hail.
A symbol of strength and power,
a feast for imagination of devour.
Some say it is neither bird nor bat,
but some kind of reptile.
Hunting humans like frightened rats,
carrying them off for miles and miles.
It lived before the birth of man,
coexisting with the dinosaurs.
Legend tells of its massive wingspan,
creating storms when it soars.
Today, it is seen as a myth,
but some believe it is real.
An aura of mystery and fear it travels with,
hiding from man while searching for its next meal.
Stories of the New World natives say that it is a powerful spirit,
what it is exactly dep
